"Stupid Questions" is the story of Lucy, a feisty, young casting assistant trying to make it -- even though she’s not yet quite sure what “it” is. With her sister getting married and her friends constantly pairing off, Lucy’s status as a single girl is constantly being called into question. Terrified she’s on the fast track to becoming her single and bitter boss, Lucy decides to hold an open -- and phony -- casting call to find her next boyfriend. Surprisingly, Lucy actually falls for one of the studs from the audition -- Memphis, a wannabe actor freshly transplanted from the south. The two begin a courtship yet things become tricky as she begins to wonder if he is genuinely interested in her or just using her to advance his career.
